For this project you will be focusing on the commissioning process works for one of these 3 genres of TV programming on the BBC.

• Comedy
• Drama
• Children's BBC and CBeebies

1. Give a summary of the type of content and overview for each channel and what it expects and how does it differ depending on that channel. *

For Comedy and Drama look at BBC 1-4 and for Children’s compare Cbeebies and Cbbc

2. Who are the Audience for each channel for your chosen genre? Give examples. *

3. Finally explain in your own words the commissioning process. Remember to include what happens to the proposal once submitted and any details on Legal and ethical considerations: copyright; bias; censorship; watersheds; libel; plagiarism *
